Introduced last year as a fun extra activity, the PowerPoint Karaoke turned out be more succesful than we had anticipated. The Stage Area was packed and bogus facts were thrown around like it was the most casual thing in the world. Enough reason for us to do it all over again, but this time with more presentations. The PowerPoint Karaoke is back for an evening filled with entertainment and non-educative, fictional facts!

PowerPoint Karaoke will push your improv-skills and knowledge about useless facts to the limit. Take to the stage where you get to present for the audience! The twist is there is no way you’ll know just exactly what it is you’ll be presenting about. We’ll give you a random PowerPoint presentation which we found in the darkest nooks and crannies of the internet. It’s up to you to give a coherent presentation about the subject handed to you. What you do to make it more pleasing and entertaining can be completely freestyled! Singing, pictionary, make it serious or come up with the biggest pile of nonsense mankind has ever seen, we’ll probably know just as much about the subject as you do.

The best/funniest/most random presenters will receive a nice prize for their effort to bring home. Participators just need to be present in the Stage Area when we kick off, we’ll choose random contestants in the audience based on time, who then get to have their five minutes of fame on stage. There’s no need to prepare for this, mostly because that’s impossible, so good luck to you all!

Vorig jaar geïntroduceerd als leuke extra activiteit, de PowerPoint Karaoke bleek succesvoller te zijn dan verwacht. De zaal zat goed vol en er werden flink wat onzinfeitjes uit de improvisatiehoed getoverd. Voor ons genoeg reden om het dit jaar nog een keer mooi over te doen, maar dan langer. De PowerPoint Karaoke is weer terug met avondvullende presentaties en een hoop nonsens!

PowerPoint Karaoke test je improvisatieskills en kennis over nutteloze feiten tot het uiterste. Neem je plek in op het podium waar jij mag gaan presenteren! De twist hier is dat je van tevoren niet weet wat je onderwerp zal zijn. Van ons krijg je een willekeurige PowerPoint presentatie voor je die wij ergens in de diepste krochten van het internet hebben gevonden. Aan jou de taak om over het onderwerp een samenhangende presentatie te geven. Hoe je dit invult is volledig aan jou! Zingen, uitbeelden, maak het serieus of vertel de grootste onzin die je je maar kan bedenken, de kans is groot dat wij net zoveel van het onderwerp af weten als jij.

De leukste/grappigste/beste presentaties krijgen voor hun moeite mooie prijzen om mee naar huis te nemen. Wil je meedoen, dan hoef je alleen maar aanwezig te zijn in de zaal, wij kiezen op basis van tijd deelnemers uit uit het publiek die hun 5 minutes of fame mogen beleven op het podium. Voorbereiden is niet nodig (en onmogelijk) dus veel geluk!
